You will learn to distinguish between good and evil, and gain wisdom for intercession by relying on the Spirit to reveal truth. As you grow in prayer, you’ll be able to hear the Shepherd’s voice more clearly and intercede with confidence and insight. Embrace your calling to discern spiritual realities, partnering with the Holy Spirit to bring God’s will into every situation.

Learning Objectives

Students will sharpen their discernment skills in intercession, learning how to distinguish between personal emotions, soulish burdens, and the true prompting of the Spirit. Through study of passages like 1 John 4:1 and Hebrews 5:14, they will develop a framework for testing spiritual impressions and aligning their intercession with biblical truth. Learners will practice listening prayer, weighing words, and following the peace of the Spirit in how and when they pray, ensuring their intercession is precise, Spirit-empowered, and fruitful.
