Scripture: Esther 4:14 – “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Reflection:

In the heart of the Book of Esther, we find a profound message of divine calling and courageous action. Esther, a young Jewish woman, finds herself in a position of influence as queen during a critical moment in her people’s history. The pivotal point of her story – and our focus today – is understanding that God places us in specific situations for a reason. Like Esther, we may be in our current positions “for such a time as this.”

1. Recognizing Divine Placement: Look around at your life – your job, your community, your church. Consider how God might be using you in these areas. Sometimes, we are placed in positions not for our benefit but to be a blessing or a voice for others.
