Mentoring Intercessors.

Learn to mentor and equip the next generation in intercessory prayer. This module guides you to teach, encourage, and raise up faithful intercessors who will impact their world through prayer.
This module empowers you to mentor others in the foundational practices of intercessory prayer, following the example of Paul to Timothy. You will discover how to impart what you have learned to younger believers, teaching them to pray with faith, perseverance, and biblical understanding. Through scripture and practical modeling, you’ll equip intercessors to partner with God and others—lifting up hands in prayer, as Moses, Aaron, and Hur did for Israel. You’ll also learn how to foster community, encouragement, and accountability as you walk alongside new intercessors. Step into your role as a mentor, investing in the next generation of prayer warriors who will carry God’s purposes into the future.

Learning Objectives

Students will be prepared to mentor and disciple younger intercessors, passing on wisdom, experience, and spiritual maturity. This unit will emphasize the importance of modeling prayer life, vulnerability, and teaching biblical foundations. Students will explore 2 Timothy 2:2 (“entrust to faithful people”) and consider how to build up others to take their place on the wall of intercession, ensuring continuity and growth in the ministry of prayer beyond their own generation.
