Song Lyrics

Love’s Enduring Scars

Verse 1

In the halls of hatred, under scornful eyes,
The Savior stood in silence, bearing no disguise.
Struck by hands He fashioned, beaten without cause,
In every wound, a whisper of love’s enduring laws.

Chorus

Love’s enduring scars, marks of our salvation,
In every bruise, a prophecy’s fulfillment.
For us, He bore the sin, the weight of all creation,
In His silence, our victory’s testament.

Verse 2

Mocked as a false prophet, yet fulfilling every word,
The Lamb led to the slaughter, His cries left unheard.
“By His wounds, we are healed,” the ancient promise made,

In every act of violence, our debt He fully paid.

Chorus

Love’s enduring scars, marks of our salvation,
In every bruise, a prophecy’s fulfillment.
For us, He bore the sin, the weight of all creation,
In His silence, our victory’s testament.

Bridge:

See Him there, the Man of Sorrows, acquainted with our grief,
Taking upon Himself the pain, for our relief.
Though His visage was marred, more than any man,
In His marred form, salvation’s perfect plan.

Chorus

Love’s enduring scars, marks of our salvation,
In every bruise, a prophecy’s fulfillment.
For us, He bore the sin, the weight of all creation,
In His silence, our victory’s testament.

Outro:

So, let us not forget, the price He paid so dear,
In every mark upon Him, our redemption clear.
For by His perfect sacrifice, by love’s enduring scars
We find our life, our hope, beneath the stars.

Sermon Title: “He Bore the Shame, So You Could Lift Your Head”

Text:

“I gave My back to those who strike Me, and My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.”

— Isaiah 50:6 (NKJV)

1.

The Face of the King, Marred for Man

The human face is where identity resides. It’s where we recognize one another, where emotion is carried, where glory is reflected. And yet… Yeshua’s face was struck, spat upon, and His beard violently torn. Why? Not just to fulfill prophecy—but to take on the deepest kind of shame.

This wasn’t just physical pain—it was humiliation. Mockery. Defilement of dignity. And Yeshua bore it without retaliation. He didn’t hide His face. He offered it.

He let His identity be mangled—so yours could be restored.

2.

Silent Suffering, Sovereign Strength

There’s a holy power in silence. Yeshua stood silently before His accusers. He didn’t argue, defend, or justify. He absorbed the blows of pride, hatred, and rejection.

And in that silence, Heaven roared.

“He opened not His mouth… yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him.” — Isaiah 53:7,10

Every time you were shamed… misunderstood… falsely accused… rejected… Jesus bore that in this moment.

Every emotional scar you carry—He carried first.

3.

The Scars that Speak

Scars are not signs of defeat. They are signs of healing.

Yeshua didn’t erase His scars after the resurrection—He revealed them. Why? Because they tell a story:

  • “Here is where I loved you.”

  • “Here is where your shame ended.”

  • “Here is where I gave you a new name.”

The song declares: “In His silence, our victory’s testament.”

Beloved, His silence wasn’t weakness. It was intercession.

4.

Lift Your Head Again

In the bridge of this song, we see the veil torn. Not just in the temple, but in identity.

Many walk through life believing the lies that came with shame—“You’re not enough,” “You’ll always be broken.” But Love bore it all in silence, so you wouldn’t have to carry that anymore.

It’s time to come out of hiding.

It’s time to lift your head.

It’s time to see your reflection restored—because the face of Jesus was disfigured for you.

🔥

Call to Response:

  • Have you been walking in shame?

  • Have you been hiding your true self because of what others have said or done?

Come to the cross—not just to be forgiven—but to be reclaimed.

Let His scars heal yours.

Prayer:

Lord Yeshua, You bore the shame I could never carry. You let them mar Your face so I could see mine restored. Today, I give You my bruises, my silence, and my hidden tears. I receive Your healing. I lift my head. Let Your love be the loudest voice over me. In Your mighty name, Amen.

🎙️ Podcast Episode: Love’s Enduring Scars

Track 4 – The Seven Bleedings of Yeshua

[Soft ambient music fades in…]

Hello friend, and welcome.

Today, we continue our journey through The Seven Bleedings of Yeshua with a track that carries the ache of heaven—Love’s Enduring Scars.

This song draws us into the quiet agony of one of the most deeply personal wounds Yeshua endured—the striking of His face and the tearing of His beard.

It’s not just the pain that moves us… it’s the shame.

Scripture says in Isaiah 50:6,

“I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard. I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.”

Think about that for a moment.

The One who spoke the stars into being…

The One whose face reflected perfect love and glory…

He allowed His face to be marred.

Bruised.

Mocked.

Disfigured.

Why?

Because He chose to bear our shame.

He took on humiliation so you could find healing.

He let His identity be ripped apart… so yours could be restored.

In this cinematic, we didn’t chase spectacle. We lingered in the stillness.

We let the silence speak.

The quiet pain of the suffering Servant.

You’ll notice a mirror motif woven through the scenes—a picture of how His bruising heals our reflection.

When shame tells you you’re broken beyond repair,

His scars say, “I bore that too.”

When silence surrounds your pain,

His silence is a song of intercession.

Even the accusers in this cinematic fade into smoke.

Because shame has no lasting authority.

And in the end, what remains?

The glowing scars.

The silent King.

And the phrase written across eternity:

“Love bore it all in silence.”

This is not just a story of pain—it’s your story of hope.

You’re invited to look again.

To lift your head.

To see that your scars are not the end—they are the entry point of healing.

Thanks for walking this part of the journey with me.

There is more to come.

But for now, rest in this truth:

You are seen.

You are known.

And you are deeply loved by the One who bore your shame.

Until next time—stay close to His heart.

[Music fades out.]
