About This Song

Background & Inspiration:

The opening track of the album sets the tone for the entire journey through Colossians, declaring Yeshua’s absolute supremacy over all creation. Inspired by Colossians 1:15-20, the lyrics boldly proclaim that everything—seen and unseen—was created through Him, and in Him, all things hold together. This song calls believers to recognize the unmatched power and authority of Christ, lifting up His name above all dominions and rulers.

Musical Composition:

“Supreme in Christ” is a high-energy gospel anthem, carrying the signature elements of gospel fusionfunk-infused basslines, powerful brass sections, and engaging call-and-response choir harmonies. The beat is infectious, full of rhythmic claps and deep, rolling drum grooves, making it an irresistible invitation to praise. This song is meant to be loud, victorious, and declarative, a true proclamation of Yeshua’s reign over all.

Lyrics & Themes:

The lyrics emphasize the supremacy and divine nature of Christ, calling all creation to bow before Him and recognize His majesty. The chorus is a bold declaration, lifting high the name of El Elyon, the Most High God. The verses reinforce the truth that Yeshua reigns eternally, and that no power, no kingdom, and no authority can stand against Him.

Personal Reflection:

This song is an anthem for every believer who wants to stand firm in the authority of Christ. It reminds us that no matter what challenges arise, we are held together by Him. As worshippers sing this song, it becomes a statement of faith—a way of reaffirming that Christ is over all, and nothing can shake His kingdom.

Key Lyrics:

“El Elyon, You stand above! All creation bows in love!”

Worship Devotion

Devotional: Supreme in Christ – Anchored in His Reign

El Elyon, You stand above… All creation bows in love.

There is something glorious about beginning worship with a declaration of who Yeshua is—not just to us, but over all creation. “Supreme in Christ” is more than a song; it’s a trumpet blast in the spirit realm, announcing the eternal truth found in Colossians 1:15–20: Yeshua is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. All things were created by Him, for Him, and through Him.

In a world that trembles under the weight of political unrest, moral confusion, and personal crises, this truth becomes an anchor for our soul: Yeshua reigns. He reigns when the kingdoms of men rise and fall. He reigns when our hearts are weary and searching. He reigns when the waves crash, and our trust has been shaken. He reigns in light—unshaken, unchanging, and unstoppable.

The lyrics cry out: “I’ve placed my trust in things that fade… but now I stand on truth so strong.” How many times have we done this? Trusted in status, success, relationships, even religion—only to find them shifting like sand beneath our feet. And yet, through the mercy of God, we are invited to plant our feet on the Rock that is Christ—the One who upholds all things by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3).

This is not a call to passive belief. This is a song of allegiance. It’s a coronation anthem—an invitation to enthrone Yeshua in every area of life. Not just in song, but in surrender. Not just in praise, but in posture. “Lift your hands if you know He reigns… Tell the nations, tell the world…” This is evangelism wrapped in worship, a prophetic declaration that He alone is worthy—and we are His witnesses.

Paul wrote in Philippians 2:9–11 that God has given Yeshua the name above every name, and that at His name every knee will bow—in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. This isn’t symbolic language—it is a divine certainty. One day, every ruler, every system, every voice will acknowledge His supremacy.

But we don’t wait until that day—we choose to bow today. In awe. In love. In worship.

“Ruach HaKodesh, breathe Your life…” This prayer at the heart of the chorus is powerful. The Spirit of God is not only our Comforter; He is the Breath of God that brings resurrection, revelation, and revival. Without Him, our songs are noise. But with Him, they are incense before the throne—living, powerful worship that shifts the atmosphere and ignites the Church.

Revelation 5:11–13 paints a heavenly picture of this moment: Every creature in heaven, on earth, and under the earth—singing in one voice, “Worthy is the Lamb!” When we worship Yeshua as Supreme, we align ourselves with heaven. We join the eternal chorus.

So today, let the lyrics of this song become your prayer, your war cry, your foundation:

  • Declare His name over fear.

  • Bow your heart where pride once ruled.

  • Speak His supremacy over your home, your nation, your struggles.

He is not just Supreme in the cosmos—He is Supreme in you.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What area of your life needs to come under the lordship of Yeshua today?

  2. Have you been placing trust in something that’s shifting instead of Christ who is unshakable?

  3. How can you declare His supremacy practically—in your worship, relationships, or intercession?

Prayer:

Yeshua, You are El Elyon—Most High God. You reign above every throne, every fear, every broken system. Forgive me for the times I’ve trusted in lesser things. Today, I bow before You and declare that You are Supreme in my life. Ruach HaKodesh, breathe Your life into every dry place. Ignite my worship. Fill my words with power. Let my life proclaim, “Yeshua reigns forevermore.” Amen.

Beloved, stand tall in the truth. You serve the King of Kings. And He holds all things—including you—together.

Surmon Notes

Sermon Title: “Supreme in Christ – Bowing to the Name Above All Names”

Text: Colossians 1:15–20, Philippians 2:9–11, Revelation 5:11–13

Introduction:

Beloved, we are not gathered today around a cultural icon or a theological idea. We are gathered around a throne. At the center of our worship, our intercession, and our faith stands a Person—Yeshua, the Supreme King, the image of the invisible God, through whom all things were created, and in whom all things hold together.

The song “Supreme in Christ” opens this worship journey with a thunderous proclamation—“El Elyon, You stand above! All creation bows in love.” It’s not just a lyric; it’s a spiritual alignment. When we declare Christ as supreme, we are not just affirming a truth—we are bowing in surrender, recognizing that He alone rules with power, wisdom, and love.

This morning, I want to walk us through three spiritual truths that rise from the lyrics of this song and the Word of God. My prayer is that we won’t just sing about His supremacy—we will live in it.

1. Christ Is Preeminent Over All Creation

Scripture: Colossians 1:16–17

“For by Him were all things created… and by Him all things consist.”

The world is loud with chaos. Kingdoms fall. Institutions crumble. Cultures shift. But above it all stands Yeshua, unshaken and enthroned in light.

He is not one among many. He is before all things, above all things, and holding all things together by His word.

The song boldly cries, “Yeshua reigns—the first, the last. Through Him alone, all things will last.”

Church, this is our anchor. We do not serve a Savior who is reacting to the world’s events—He is ruling over them. He is El Elyon, the Most High God. And when we proclaim His supremacy, our fears bow. Our doubts scatter. Our souls stabilize.

Application:

Is there something in your life that feels like it’s falling apart? A relationship? A dream? A ministry? Hear the Word: “By Him all things hold together.” Entrust it again to Yeshua. His reign is not just cosmic—it’s personal.

2. Every Knee Will Bow—So Bow Now in Worship

Scripture: Philippians 2:9–11

“God has highly exalted Him… that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow.”

This is not a poetic exaggeration—it is the divine decree. There will come a day when every king, every ruler, every doubter, and every demon will bow and confess: Yeshua is Lord.

The bridge of the song declares: “Lift your hands if you know He reigns… Tell the nations, tell the world: Yeshua reigns forevermore!”

That’s not just worship—that’s witness. It’s evangelism through exaltation.

You don’t have to wait for eternity to bow. Bow now. In your decisions. In your finances. In your conversations. Let your whole life declare, “Jesus is Lord.”

Application:

Have you surrendered every area to His rule? It’s not just about singing the chorus. It’s about giving Him the throne of your heart, your time, your priorities. Bow now—freely, joyfully—because one day all will.

3. The Spirit Breathes Power into Our Praise

Scripture: Revelation 5:12–13

“Worthy is the Lamb… Blessing, honor, glory, and power be unto Him that sits on the throne!”

As the song sings, “Ruach HaKodesh, breathe Your life.” We are not here for performance. Worship is not hype—it’s hosted glory. And that glory only comes when the Holy Spirit breathes.

We need the Ruach to awaken hearts, break chains, and reveal Christ anew. This song is an invitation to the Spirit: “Come breathe resurrection. Come breathe boldness. Come breathe worship that shifts nations.”

Application:

Before you sing, before you serve—pause and ask: “Ruach HaKodesh, breathe on me.”

Worship without the Spirit is sound. But with the Spirit, it becomes a sword, a fragrance, a fire.

Conclusion:

Beloved, Yeshua is not only Supreme in the heavens—He must be Supreme in us. In our thoughts. In our homes. In our worship. In our witness.

Let this anthem “Supreme in Christ” be more than a song. Let it be a declaration. Let it be your war cry, your surrender, your foundation.

The world may be restless, but Christ reigns. We may be weak, but He is strong. We may be uncertain, but He is unshakable.

Call to Action:

  • Bow your heart in worship today—not out of pressure, but in love.

  • Declare His name where you once stayed silent.

  • Invite the Holy Spirit to breathe fresh fire into your praise.

Prayer:

Yeshua, El Elyon, You are exalted above every name. Forgive us for looking to what fades. Today, we plant our lives on You—the unshakable Rock. Ruach HaKodesh, breathe into our worship, our witness, our walk. Let every part of us proclaim: You reign forevermore.

Amen.

Benediction:

Go in the boldness of those who know their King reigns. Speak His name with confidence. Live under His lordship with joy. And may your life echo heaven’s song:

“Yeshua reigns forevermore!”

🎙️ Podcast Script: “Supreme in Christ – A Sound That Shakes Heaven and Earth”

For worshippers, intercessors, and everyday believers longing to walk in deeper surrender and bold faith.

[Opening – Warm Welcome]

Hey family, welcome to today’s episode. I’m so grateful you’re here with me. Whether you’re driving, walking, journaling, or just sitting in a quiet space with the Lord—thank you for setting this time apart. My prayer is that as we journey together, the Spirit of God will breathe fresh fire into your heart, into your worship, and into your daily walk with Yeshua.

Today, we’re diving into the heart of a bold gospel anthem—“Supreme in Christ.” This isn’t just the first track on the album Supreme in Christ: A Journey Through Colossians—it’s a trumpet blast in the Spirit. It’s a call to alignment. A call to faith. A call to worship that is anchored in truth and roaring with power.

[Unpacking the Song – Relational and Devotional]

Let me just say, there is something radical—something holy—about beginning worship with a declaration: “El Elyon, You stand above. All creation bows in love.” This isn’t flattery. It’s not poetic license. It’s a confession of truth drawn straight from Colossians 1:15–20—that Christ is not only the image of the invisible God, but that by Him, through Him, and for Him all things were created. And right now, as you listen, He is holding everything together.

You know, I’ve had seasons in life—maybe you have too—where everything felt like it was falling apart. Plans failed. Confidence wavered. Even my worship felt dry. But one day, I was reminded: “By Him all things consist.” That includes my peace. My calling. My hope. The same Yeshua who upholds galaxies is holding you.

The song says, “I’ve placed my trust in things that fade… but now I stand on truth so strong.”

That’s not just a lyric. That’s a confession of repentance. We’ve all been there—trusting in things that looked secure but couldn’t hold us. Maybe it was finances, approval, ministry success, or even our own efforts. But this song reminds us: there’s a better Rock. And His name is Yeshua.

[Scriptural Reflection – Theological Depth in Conversation]

Let’s anchor this in the Word.

📖 Philippians 2:9–11 tells us:

“God has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name… that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow.”

This is not optional in the end—it’s inevitable. Every king, every ruler, every soul will bow. But you and I, as sons and daughters, we don’t have to wait until then. We bow today—joyfully, reverently, because we know Him. We know the One whose eyes are like fire and whose love never fails.

This is not just worship—it’s warfare. Every time you declare the supremacy of Christ, you push back darkness. You silence fear. You realign your home, your heart, your atmosphere with heaven.

And that’s where “Ruach HaKodesh, breathe Your life” becomes more than a prayer—it becomes the pulse of revival. The Holy Spirit is not distant. He’s the very Breath of God. He brings resurrection, renewal, and clarity where confusion once ruled. When we invite Him into our worship, it’s not performance—it’s presence.

[Personal Insight – Spirit-Led Encouragement]

Let me share something personal. There was a moment in my life when I felt like I was in spiritual freefall. I knew all the right scriptures, had all the ministry tools… but deep inside, I was disconnected. And it wasn’t until I stopped striving and simply declared His supremacy out loud—right there in my living room—that breakthrough came.

I said: “Yeshua, You reign. Even here. Even now. Over my thoughts. Over my family. Over this dry place.”

And in that moment, something shifted. Peace returned. Worship flowed again. Not because I had control, but because I had come under His reign.

[Devotional Activation – Engaging the Listener]

So here’s my invitation to you:

Speak His name over your fear.

Worship Him in the waiting.

Declare His reign over your home, your job, your nation.

And invite the Spirit of God to breathe again.

Let’s not wait for Sunday. Let’s not wait for a perfect atmosphere. Right where you are—Yeshua is worthy. He is exalted. He is Supreme.

[Prayer – Holy Spirit-Led Declaration]

Let’s pray.

Yeshua, we honor You. You are El Elyon—Most High.

You reign above every name, every system, every situation.

Forgive us for putting our trust in fading things.

We choose today to enthrone You again in our hearts.

Ruach HaKodesh, breathe Your life.

Awaken dead places. Restore joy. Ignite our worship.

Let our lives sing what heaven already knows:

You reign forevermore.

Amen.

[Closing – Faith-Filled Encouragement]

Beloved, thank you for joining me today. You are part of a global family declaring one eternal truth—Yeshua is Supreme. Let that declaration shape your worship, your choices, your witness.

Until next time—walk boldly, sing freely, and remember:

You are held together by the One who holds it all.

And He reigns.

🎶 “El Elyon, You stand above. All creation bows in love.” 🎶

Amen.
